How to make a homemade wasp trap

Step 1: Cut the Top off a Plastic Bottle
Choose a plastic bottle that's at least 16 ounces in size. Using a sharp pair of scissors, cut off the top third of the bottle. Make sure to cut just above the point where the bottle starts to taper.

Step 2: Add Bait
Pour a small amount of sweet liquid into the bottom of the bottle. This could be sugar water, fruit juice, or even soda. The sweetness will attract the wasps into the trap. Be careful not to add too much liquid, as you don't want the wasps to be able to climb out.
